OUR VISION - We aim to provide comprehensive healthcare which is safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led for the prevention of illness and its treatment when the need arises.
The information on this website will help you understand how to use our services in order to get the best possible care for you and your family from our practice team. We will do our best to help with your individual health care needs and are committed to providing the highest levels of evidence based clinical care to our patients. Please appreciate our resources are limited. To ensure that they are used appropriately for benefit of our local community as a whole, our decision-making is always based on defined medical evaluation criteria and follows clear ethical principles.
SURGERY RENOVATIONS AND DISRUPTIONS
From 27 November we will be making some improvements to our clinical rooms for the benefit of our patients. This will mean some disruption and we apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst these works are carried out. We would specifically ask that parents maintain close supervision of their children whilst in the surgery, due to the potential hazards present.
NEED MEDICAL HELP WHEN THE SURGERY IS CLOSED?
Please dial 111 to contact the Somerset Out of Hours Service through NHS 111.
EVENING & WEEKEND APPOINTMENTS
Do you find it difficult to get to the surgery during normal working hours? Please visit the Appointments Section of our website for information on about our evening & weekend appointments for West Somerset patients.
EVERY PATIENT HAS A NAMED GP
Whilst you are registered with the practice, every patient has a named GP who is responsible for overseeing their clinical care, they are known as your 'Usual GP'. If you are unsure who your 'Usual GP' is please ask.
DO YOU CURRENTLY VISIT THE SURGERY FOR AN ANNUAL REVIEW FOR ANY REASON?
To make our care more holistic and reduce the number of times that patients need to attend the surgery and see different clinicians in connection with their ongoing routine healthcare, we are moving to a system of ANNUAL BIRTHDAY REVIEWS. Please speak to a member of the team or pick up one of our information leaflet for more detail.
