Telephone Advice

If you need to speak to a doctor or nurse on the telephone, please try to telephone (Williton 632701) either between 8.30 am and 9.00 am or between 11.30 am and 12 noon, when the clinician is more likely to be available. We try not to interrupt consultations except in an emergency.

Test Resultstest_results6

Sometimes you may be asked to contact the surgery for the result of an investigation. Please telephone Williton 632701 after 2.00 pm. Although in normal circumstances we will contact you if there is anything abnormal or any cause for concern following receipt of your test results.

A member of staff will give information after speaking with a doctor. In order to maintain confidentiality we can only give details to patients themselves, or to the parents of children. It is often a good idea to discuss the significance of the result with your doctor and the doctor may ask you to make a follow-up appointment for this reason.

Enquiries about tests ordered by the hospital should usually be directed to the Consultant’s secretary at the hospital.
