The nurse was attentive and understanding.
Thoroughly professional and efficient in the process of doing my annual diabetic check up.
She listened to my concerns and arranged follow up consultation with my GP and diabetic nurse.

The nurse I saw was, pleasant, friendly and courteous. She took my blood sample pretty well although with some pain.
The only query I had was when she took my blood pressure. As I regularly take my blood pressure at home and monitor, I looked up how to do this properly. This nurse wanted to take the measure on my right arm, the sleeve was very loose (should only be able to get two fingers under the cuff) and the result was 127/78. My usual reading is around 135/85 so her figures were low as a result. I therefore have to question her training in this respect.

Atrial fibrillation annual review.
Friendly and supportive nurse. No ECG to review heart rhythm.
Blood pressure, pulse and weight could all be provided online from home, as could a short questionnaire.
I shall shortly go through the same sort of meeting for my COPD review and the same comments will apply, with no spirometry tests.
Surely better for patient submitted information to be amalgamated and followed by an annual meeting with the GP for annual health appraisal?
